Connecting a device
ATTENTION
- Devices that may bear risks when being used without operator attention (e.g. terrace
heater, smoothing iron, fan feater, etc.) must not be connected to the switch.
- Devices with a power consumption of more than 13 amp (= 3,120 watt ohmic load) or
2 amp (= 460 watt inductive, e.g. motor-driven devices, transformers) must not be
connected.
1. Connect the timer switch to a mains outlet with earthing conductors whose voltage corresponds
to the "Technical data".
2. Insert the plug of the other device (aquarium pump, lamp, radio, etc.) into the outlet of the timer
switch.
3. Turn the connected device on.
4. Push the lateral switch of the timer switch until you can see the clock symbol
.
The device connected to the timer switch now automatically switches on and off according to the
specified times.
1. Set the pushers to the desired switching times:
z
Press down the pusher: current starts to flow and the connected device is
activated. In addition, a red control lamp lights up.
z
Push up the pusher again: current is stopped again, the connected device
is deactivated or switched off.
2. Finally turn the dial so that its timing arrow shows the current time of the
day.
Beside sample illustration shows the time "12:00".
