Description
Default
WAN Mode
Your device can connect to the internet via the WAN port with a Dynamic IP
or Static IP.
Static IP: Manually set up the IP address.
Dynamic IP: DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) allows you to
obtain an IP address automatically from your router.
DHCP
IP Allocation Method
The IP Allocation Method is the same as the WAN Connection Mode that you
have set. You can apply to different option by modifying the WAN
Connection Mode.
Dynamic: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) allows you to
obtain an IP address automatically from your router.
Manual: Manually set up the IP address (Static).
DHCP
IP Address
Set up an IP address for your device to connect to the internet via the WAN
port. It’s configurable when the mode is set to Static.

Network Mask
Set up the WAN network mask. It’s configurable when the mode is set to
Static.

Gateway Address
Set up the gateway address. It’s configurable when the mode is set to Static.

MTU
Maximum Transmission Unit is the largest packet that can be transmitted
over packet based networks.

Retrieve DNS Address By
The Retrieve DNS Address Method is the same as the WAN Connection
Mode that you have set. You can apply to different option by modifying the
WAN Connection Mode.
DNS address can be retrieved by DHCP setup or manually set.
Dynamic: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) allows you to
obtain an IP address automatically from your router.
Manual: Manually set up the IP address (Static).

Set up the primary DNS. It’s configurable when the mode is set to Static.
