Hover left/right (roll) (Fig. K)
If you want to perform a movement to the right or
left without rotating the Quadrocopter, i.e. hover
sideways, then move the right control lever (2e) to
the left or right. The further you steer the control
lever, the faster the sideways movement.
Moving forwards/backwards (pitch)
(Fig. L)
By moving the right control lever (2e) forwards
or backwards, the Quadrocopter tilts in the
corresponding direction. The further you steer the
control lever in the corresponding direction, the
faster the Quadrocopter will fly.
Turning left/right (yaw) (Fig. M)
By moving the throttle (2d) to the left or right, the
Quadrocopter is turned on its vertical axis, that
means the Quadrocopter rotates to the right or left
staying in the same spot. The further you move the
throttle, the faster the turning.
Note:
Note that the throttle lever (2d) returns to
its original position when released.
360° rollover (Fig. N)
1. Guide the Quadrocopter (1) to a height of
approx. 4m.
2. Keep it hovering and press the control lever
once (2c). A beep sounds.
3. Move the control lever (2e) in the direction in
which the rollover is to be performed.
4. The Quadrocopter performs a 360° rollover.
After the rollover, the Quadrocopter is in normal
flight mode and you can repeat another rollover.
Press the button again if you do not want to do a
rollover and have already pressed it.
Note
: You need sufficient flight altitude for a
360° rollover (at least 4 metres).
Setting the speed (Fig. O)
You can set the flight speed on the remote control
(2) by pressing the 2f, 2g and 2h buttons. The
default setting is low speed, from a total of three
speed levels. The speed level is displayed in the
speed display (2i).
Speed level 1 (2h)
(beep sounds once)
The speed indicator (2i) lights up in the lower
area.
For first attempts with little flight experience.
Speed level 2 (2g)
(beep sounds twice)
The speed indicator (2i) lights up in the middle
area.
For pilots with some experience.
Speed level 3 (2f)
(beep sounds three times)
The speed indicator lights up in the upper area
(2i).
For very experienced pilots.
Note:
When the remote control is switched off
and on again, the Quadrocopter is again in
speed level 1.
LED position lights (Fig. P)
Press button (2b) to turn the LED position lights on
or off.
Direction (roll and pitch trimming)
(Fig. Q)
If there is a forwards or backwards movement,
even though you are not using the control lever
at all, you can correct this with the pitch trimming.
If the Quadrocopter flies forwards, press the
pitch-trimming button (2m) backwards and vice
versa. You counteract the unwanted movement
with the trim setting.
If the Quadrocopter moves sideways independent-
ly, you can correct this with the roll trimming. If
the Quadrocopter hovers sideways to the left,
then press the trimming button (2n) to the right
and vice versa. Thus you counteract the unwanted
movement.
Calibration (Fig. R)
It can happen that the Quadrocopter flies errati-
cally and must be calibrated. Proceed as follows
to do this:
1. Place the Quadrocopter (1) on a horizontal,
level surface.
2. Slide the throttle (2d) and the control lever (2e)
to the bottom right simultaneously.
The LED position lights (1b) on the Quadrocop-
ter will flash. As soon as they stop flashing, the
calibration is complete and the Quadrocopter is
ready for flight.
Note:
Repeat the calibration if the Quadrocopter
still flies erratically in one direction.
