This  appliance  is  not  intended  for  use  by  persons  (including  children)  with  reduced  physical,  sensory  or 

mental  capabilities  or  lack  of  experience  and  knowledge,  unless  they  have  been  given  supervision  or 

instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

 

 Close supervision is 

necessary when used by or near children.

Safety Instructions 

 

1.

 

Read and familiarise yourself with all operating instructions before attempting to use the Soup Maker. 

2.

 

Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. 

3.

 

As all cooking times vary do not leave the appliance unattended whilst operating. 

4.

 

Be aware, that surfaces may become hot during and after use, always use an oven glove or cloth. Use 

the handle(s) provided and do not touch the heated surfaces. 

5.

 

Always disconnect the plug from the mains before cleaning. Wipe clean only, do not immerse the unit, 

plug or cord in water or any other liquid. 

6.

 

Always allow the unit to cool down before storage or cleaning. 

7.

 

Always ensure that the jug, jug cover and measuring cup are in place before use. 

8.

 

Always retain the instruction manual safely for future use and reference. 

9.

 

There are no user serviceable parts, if the unit fails, consult a qualified electrician, a repair centre or 

contact the supplier if the unit is still under warranty. 

10.

 

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 

11.

 

This  appliance  is  not  intended  to  be  operated  by  means  of  an external timer  or separate  remote 

control system.

Keep away from splashes of water or damp conditions.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly 

qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
