 1.  Open the "Create network configuration" menu in DataService Con-

figurator.

Open the channel overview in DataService Configurator.

Click a device with the right mouse button.

Select the menu item

 2.  Modify the corresponding input fields:

Serial number

: Enter the serial number of the device on which you want to change the net-

work settings.

 

l

Select the desired settings for DHCP, IP address, net mask, gateway and MTU.

 3.  Now select the storage location of the configuration with 

Save as

.

 4.  Confirm the dialogue by pressing "OK".
 5.  Save the file to the main directory of a USB memory stick formatted with 

FAT16 or FAT32.

 6.  Plug the USB memory stick in to the device.
 7.  After a few seconds, the network configuration should have changed.

4.9.1 

Time and clock settings

In this group, some channels are already set by default, which are relevant 
to the time and date settings:

The NPT time (Network Time Protocol) is a number that contains the num-

to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
