Info Field 

Description

GPS Status 

The current status of your GPS device. No Fix, 2-D, or 3-D. A W below the  

 

status indicates a WAAS fix.

Heading 

The current direction of travel. Expressed in degrees.  

 

PN-40 Only

: If electronic compass accuracy is poor, a red exclamation  

 

point displays.

Moonrise/Moonset 

The time of day at which the moon will rise and set based on the GPS location 

 

or the current map center. Expressed as hours:minutes AM/PM. 

Next Stop 

The label for the next stop as it appears in the route directions.

Next Turn 

When navigating, the label for the next turn as it appears in the route directions.    

 

Also displays an arrow showing the direction of the turn/route direction 

 information.
Next Turn Arrow 

The arrow representing the next turn as it appears in the route directions.  

 

No label text displays.

Off Course 

The perpendicular distance between the current location and the route.  

 

Expressed in distance.

Pressure: Ambient 

The surrounding barometric pressure reading. Set the unit type in Device 

 

Setup > Units > Pressure.

Pressure: MSL 

The surrounding barometric pressure adjusted to the device‘s elevation reading. 

 

Set the unit type in Device Settings > Units > Pressure.

Speed 

The current rate of travel for the device. Expressed in distance per unit of time.

Speed: Average 

The average speed of the device including stop time. Expressed in distance  

 

per unit of time. 

Speed: Maximum 

The maximum speed achieved. Expressed in distance per unit of time.
