The appliance is not to be used if it has

damage or if it is leaking.
If the ironing system
is dropped causing visible damage to the appliance (steam
generator or iron), do not use. Take to customer services.

Preparations for use
What water to use
The appliance works with
normal tap water.
Important!
Never use chemical substances or detergents (e.g. perfumed
water, essences, descaling solution, etc).
Do not use mineral or other types of water (such as rainwater
or water for batteries or air conditioners etc.).
Setting water hardness
This ironing system has a resin limescale filter installed in the
water reservoir, allowing you to use ordinary tap water.
The resins reduce water hardness, prolonging the working life
of the appliance.
The filter must be replaced when the
light on the ap-
pliance control panel comes on. To customise the warning
according to the water used, proceed as follows:
• check the hardness of your water using the indicator
paper

provided:
• dip the paper in the water for 1 second,
• shake to remove excess water;
• wait for 1 minute;
• check the result in the table and use a coin to turn the
water hardness regulator
