Before plugging into the mains, make sure the voltage
of your mains supply corresponds to the Volts value indi-
cated on the appliance and that the socket and power
line are appropriate for the load required.

INSTALLATION
The appliance must be used in the portable configuration only.
This is a household appliance only. The appliance must not be
positioned directly underneath a fixed power point.
OPERATION AND USEA
Models with function selector and room thermostat

Turn the thermostat (if present) clockwise as far as it will
go to the maximum position.

Summer use (fan only):

You are recommended to unplug the appliance when not
in use.
Models with thermostat only
To turn the appliance on, turn the thermostat clockwise as far
as it will go to the maximum position. (if present, the indica-
tor light comes on). To turn the appliance off completely, turn
the thermostat to minimum and unplug from the mains.
ADJUSTING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature, turn
the thermostat slowly anticlockwise until the appliance goes
off and no further. The thermostat will then keep room tem-
perature at the selected level automatically.
FREEZE PROTECTION
Turn the function selector to “

” and the thermostat to .
The appliance is set to maintain a temperature of about 5°C in
the room with minimum energy consumption.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug from the mains socket before cleaning.

Clean the air intake and output grilles frequently, if nec-
essary using a vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated
dirt.

Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
