9.   “HOT WATER Press OK” is displayed; 
10. Press the 

 icon to confirm the selection. The appliance 

begins hot water delivery and the message “Please wait” is 
displayed;

11. After 

the flow of hot water stops, the appliance automatically 

resets to “Ready for coffee” status.

The new filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.

Removing the filter

If you want to use the appliance without the filter, you must 
remove it and notify the appliance of its removal. Proceed as 
follows:
1.  Remove the tank, remove the filter and put the tank back 

in the appliance;

2.   Press the  

 (B2) icon to enter the menu;

3.   Press 

 or 

(fig. 5) until “Install filter Enable” is 

displayed;

4.   Press the 

 

icon (fig. 6);

5.   “Disable?” is displayed;
6.   Press the  

 icon to confirm and the  

 icon to exit 

the menu.

Fill the tank with water and/or insert it cor-
rectly, pushing it as far as it will go until it 
clicks into place.

EMPTY GROUNDS CONTAINER

The grounds container (A13) is full.

Empty the grounds container and drip tray, 
clean and replace. Important: when removing 
the drip tray, the grounds container MUST be 
emptied, even if it contains few grounds. If this 
is not done, when you make the next coffees, 
the grounds container may fill up more than 
expected and clog the machine.

INSERADD PRE-GROUND 
COFFEE

After cleaning, the grounds container has not 
been replaced (A13).

Remove the drip tray and insert the grounds 
container.

ADD PRE-GROUND COFFEE

With the “pre-ground coffee” function selected, 
pre-ground coffee has not been poured into the 
funnel (A4).

Place pre-ground coffee in the funnel or dese-
lect the “pre-ground” function (fig. 16).
