Installation
The appliance can be used on any horizontal surface.
Do not overload the electrical circuit. Avoid using the same
socket for other appliances.
Electrical connection
- Before plugging into the mains, make sure the voltage
of your mains supply corresponds to the value V indica-
ted on the appliance and that the socket and power line
are appropriate for the load required.

operation and use
1. Make sure the selector (
A
) is in the “
0
” position before
plugging the appliance into the mains socket.
2. Plug into the mains socket.
3. Turn the appliance on by placing the thermostat (
B
) in
the Max position and the mode selector (
A
) in one of the
following positions:
/1/2/3
.
the following modes are available:
- Summer mode (fan only): turn the mode selector to the
position (the light comes on).
- Low power operation: turn the mode selector to posi-
tion “
1
”.
- Medium power operation: turn the mode selector to
position “
2
”.
- High power operation: turn the mode selector to posi-
tion “
3
”.
- To turn the appliance off: turn the mode selector to the
“
0
” position and the thermostat to the
position, then
unplug from the mains.
Adjusting the thermostat
When the room has reached the required temperature, turn
the thermostat (
B
) slowly anticlockwise until you hear a
“click”. The thermostat will then keep room temperature at
the selected level automatically.
Frost prevention mode
With the thermostat dial at minimum
and the mode se-
lector (
A
) on “
3
”, the appliance maintains room temperature
at about 5°C, preventing freezing with minimal energy con-
sumption.
MAIntEnAncE
- Always unplug from the mains socket before cleaning.
- During the season when the appliance is in use, clean
the air intake and outlet grilles regularly using a vacuum
cleaner.
- To clean the filter, remove the rear grille (
E
) by pulling it
outwards (fig. 1).
Remove the dust filter (
F
) which retains impurities in
the air drawn in from the room, blow on it lightly then
replace in the appliance.
- Never use abrasive powders or solvents to clean the ap-
pliance.
