1. What should I do if I do not have a DSL or cable modem connection?

through cable or DSL modem.

(b)  If you don’t have an Internet connection, you can set the router to be in

Access Point

 mode. Please

refer to the section “Setting up as an Access Point” in the user’s guide, located on the

the user’s guide.

2.

Why can’t I connect to Internet via the router after following the installation instructions in

Applying the wrong settings on the router may cause this problem or there is some incompatibility issue
between the router and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). See the latest information on the

TrueMobile

2300 Wireless Broadband Router

at www.support.dell.com. To access the Dell Support site, remove the router

from the network and connect your computer directly to the cable or DSL modem using the instructions
provided by your ISP.

3. Will any software on my computer(s) conflict with the router?

You should disable any connection sharing software on your computer(s)  – such as Microsoft Internet
connection Sharing (ICS), 3Com HomeClick and Intel Anypoint ISS – and proxy software – such as Wingate
and Sygate. These types of software will no longer be needed when you network your systems with this router.

the wireless router. Follow the steps in section
