Installing System Components
Removing the System Board Shroud
CAUTION:

by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the

Open the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 82.

Locate the two shroud tabs with blue dots between the fan assemblies. See
Figure 3-13.

Grasping the tabs, gently lift the shroud straight up and away from the
system board. See Figure 3-13.

Remove the system board shroud.
