To set brightness manually:

In the Home screen, tap the Settings icon on
the Home screen to open the Settings
screen.

In the Phone basics section, tap Display
settings to open the Display settings screen.

In the Brightness settings section, tap
Brightness to open the Brightness panel.

NOTE: Ensure that the Auto
Brightness check box is not selected

Use your finger or stylus to move the slider
on the Brightness panel to the left or right to
adjust the brightness.

Tap OK to save and exit the Brightness panel.
