Remove the
base cover

Remove the
battery
.

Remove the
hard drive
.
4
Remove the
fan
.
5
Remove the
keyboard
.
6
Remove the
base frame
.
7
Remove the
speakers
.
8
Remove the
I/O board
.
9
Remove the
status light board
.

Remove the
display assembly
.
Procedure
1
Remove the screws that secure the system board to the palm rest.
2
Carefully lift the system board and disconnect the power-adapter port
cable from the system board.
