Removing Power Interposer Board
The Power Interposer Board (PIB) connects the hot-swappable power supply units
(PSUs) to the system board.
Before you begin
Follow all safety guidelines.
CAUTION
When replacing the system board, disconnect the cables from the system board,
but do not disconnect the cables attached to the PIB.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the power interposer board, you must remove the power
supply module (s) or power supply blank from the system before removing the
power interposer board or power distribution board.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the cables connected from the power interposer board (PIB) to the
system board, and remove the cables from the cable retention brackets.
