Graphics card
Removing the graphics card
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in
Before working inside your computer .
2. Remove the base cover .
3. Remove the battery .
4. Remove the wireless card .
5. Remove the solid-state drive from M.2 slot one .
6. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 4 in Removing the hard drive , if applicable.
7. Remove the solid-state drive from M.2 slot three , if applicable.
8. Remove the solid-state drive from M.2 slot four , if applicable.
9. Remove the rear-I/O cover .
10. Remove the computer base .
11. Remove the heat-sink assembly .

Steps
1. Disconnect the graphics-card power cable from the graphics card.
2. Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the two graphics-card cable to the graphics card.
3. Remove the three screws (M2x3) that secure the graphics card to the system board.
4. Lift the graphics card off the system board.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
