Installing the power supply unit blank
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in

2. Install the power supply unit (PSU) blank in the available PSU bay.
Steps
Align the PSU blank with the PSU slot and push it into the PSU slot until it clicks into place.

Removing a power supply unit
The procedure for removing AC and DC PSUs is identical.
Prerequisites
CAUTION:
The system needs one power supply unit (PSU) for normal operation. On power-redundant systems, remove
and replace only one PSU at a time in a system that is powered on.
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in

2. Disconnect the power cable from the power source and from the PSU you intend to remove, and then remove the cable from the
strap on the PSU handle.
3. Remove the optional strain relief bar and bracket if it interferes with the PSU removal.

Steps
1. Press the orange release latch.
2. Slide the PSU out of the system by using the PSU handle.
