NOTE:
You must install a filler bracket over an empty expansion card slot to maintain Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) certification of the system. The brackets also keep dust and dirt out of the system and aid in
proper cooling and airflow inside the system.

Steps
1. Align the riser with the slots on the rear of the system and lower the riser until it locks into place.
2. Tighten the two thumb screws that secure the riser to the system.
3. Reconnect the cables connected to the Power Interposer Board (PIB), system board, and the backplane.
NOTE:
Ensure that the cables inside the system are routed along the chassis wall and secured using the cable
securing bracket.
NOTE:
Route the cables properly when you replace them to prevent them from being pinched or crimped.
