The same procedure can be used to either enter or exit Valet
®
Mode:
2.
Turn the ignition on.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. Press and release the
Valet
®
switch within 10
seconds.
The status LED will light steady if you have entered Valet Mode,
and it will go out if you have exited Valet Mode.
Using Remote Valet as you enter or exit the vehicle:
1.
Open any door.
2.
Press
(or the arm/disarm button).
3.
Press
(or the auxiliary output button).
4.
Press again.
The status LED will light steady if you have entered Valet Mode,
and it will go out if you exited Valet Mode.
Your system has Directed’s Nuisance Prevention® Circuitry (NPC®).
It prevents annoying repetitive trigger sequences due to faulty
door pin switches or environmental conditions such as thunder,
jackhammers, airport noise, etc.
If the alarm triggers three times within a 60-minute period and
each time the same sensor or switch triggers the alarm, NPC® will
