The contaminated room features an additional
type of opening for fitting the Dehaco Bypass
(Figure 4). This can be installed on any side of the
contaminated room.
NB Ensure that the Dehaco Bypass is capable of
air suction without obstruction. Always site it on an
unobstructed side.

If the openings have been installed correctly, then
it will be possible to place the shower basin in the
shower room (Figure 5). Ensure that the flaps hang
down in the shower basin so that no water can get
underneath the shower basin.

In order to be able to shower you need a water
source, such as a Dehaco water management
system.
4. CLEANING
Once the work for which the decontamination shower
has been erected has been successfully completed, the
decontamination shower must be cleaned. In the case
of asbestos removal, cleaning should take place prior
to the clearance measurement of the containment.
Wipe the walls and floors with a damp cloth. If
necessary, you can use an all-purpose cleaner.
Pump all the water out of the shower basin and also
wipe the basin with a damp cloth.
5. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Once the decontamination shower is fully dry on the
inside, you can disassemble it.
• Remove the shower basin from the shower
chamber.
• Remove the spacers from the chambers and place
them back in the chamber along the door.
• Fold the sides to the inside and press the door
sections against each other and fasten them at the
top and bottom with the straps.
• Zip the doors closed.
Caution: Transport the decontamination shower on
its side and do not allow heavy objects to rest on the
tarpaulin.
Store the decontamination shower on its side or in a
standing position in a dry environment.
6. REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
The following points can be repaired and maintained:
• Hole in the tarpaulin: This can be repaired by
positioning a new piece of tarpaulin over the hole
and attaching it with adhesive.
• Zip getting stuck: This can be remedied by spraying
the zip clean with air and lubricating it with WD40.
You can take the decontamination shower to
your point of purchase for any other repair and
maintenance.
NB The decontamination shower will have to be
clean when presented for repair and maintenance
work.
7. END OF LIFESPAN
The decontamination shower can be disposed of once
it reaches the end of its life. In this regard, please
comply with current regulations for recycling discarded
products.
Ensure that the decontamination shower is cleaned
prior to disposal.
