It is useful to prevent:
1) Powering on accidentally which can cause battery
wasted.
2) Reception being broken off unexpectedly while
listening.

When the unit is in lock status,
lock indicator appears in the
display. None of the buttons
except LIGHT, MONO / ST and
RESET will work.
LOCK FUNCTION
Slide the LOCK switch in the
opposite direction of the arrow
to unlock the controls.
Lock function prevent the unit from short, accidental
button press.
RESET
If the unit operates erratically, press RESET to resume normal
operation.
Note that reset will erase all of the memories including clock
setting.

ALARM
2. Alarm
Push ALARM , LCD in alarm set mode for 3 seconds, after
then indicates in the display, alarm function is on and the
unit will turn on automatically at the presetting time.
Press POWER to turn off the uni t after alarm set. As you can
see, still indicates in the display, timer function is still on.
Alarm set is available only one time.
Alarm clock setting: refer to page 10.
To turn off alarm function, please refer to page 11.
After listening, press POWER to
turn off the unit.
