4.10.3.2 Alarm
Before operation, please make sure you have proper ly connected alar m devices such as buzzer.
In the main menu, from Setting->Event->Alar m, you can see alar m setup interface.
For analog channel, the interface is shown as in Figure 4-88 and Figure 4-89 .
For digital channel, there are four alar m types. See F igure 4-88 to F igure 4-91.
Local alar m: The alar m signal system detects from the alar m input port.
Network alar m: It is the alar m signal from the network.
IPC external alar m: It is the on-off alar m signal from the front-end device and can activate the local
HDVR.
IPC offline alar m: Once you sele ct this item, system can generate an alar m when the front-end IPC
disconnects with the local HDVR. The alarm can activate record, PT Z, snap and etc. The alar m can
last until the IPC and the HDVR connection resumes.
Important
If it is your first time to boot up the device, the disconnection status of the front -end
network camera will not be regarded as offline. After one successfully connection, all
the disconnection events will be regarded as IPC offline event.
When IPC offline alarm occurs, the record and snapshot function of digital channel is
null.
Alar m in: Here is for you to select channel number.
Type: nor mal open or nor mal close.
PTZ activation: Here you can set PT Z movement when alar m occurs. Such as go to preset, tour&
pattern when there is an a
larm. Click “select” button, you can see an interface is shown as in Figure
4-92.
Period: Click set button, you can see an interface is shown as in Figure 4-93. There are two ways
for you to set periods. There are max 6 periods in one day. There are four record types: regular,
