How to switch from Lock Mode to Operational Mode
Operating Instructions
The internal battery is locked from operation during shipment
for safety and battery saving. Press and hold the red button to
activate the light for use. DO NOT activate the light until you
have charged the battery. Prior to activation you must charge
the light in direct sunlight for at least 4-6 days to give the
Lithium battery sufficient charge and to prevent the battery
from malfunctioning. Place the light in optimal position so that
the solar panels receive direct sunlight.
To select a lighting, press and release quickly the activation switch. Press once for Mode 1 and
twice for Mode 2.
A Red light will indicate that you have selected Mode 1. The light will charge during daylight
hours and will remain off during this period. When the sensor detects it is sufficiently dark,
the light will turn on to 10% brig PIR motion sensor at full brightness until dawn.
During this entire period, if the light detects motion within 26 feet (8M), it will turn on to 3000
Lumens brightness for 30 seconds. If no motion is detected after 30 seconds, it will return to
the resting brightness.
A Green light will indicate that you have selected Mode 2. The light will charge during daylight
hours and will remain off during this period. When the sensor detects it is sufficiently dark,
the light will turn on to 30% brig PIR motion sensor at full brightness until dawn.
During this entire period, if the light detects motion within 26 feet (8M), it will turn on to 3000
Lumens brightness for 30 seconds. If no motion is detected after 30 seconds, it will return to
the resting brightness.
The light will remain in the selected mode until changed.
For best performance, it is recommended to
install the light where it receives maximum
sunlight.
When installing for street / roadway usage,
it is recommended to install each light 49ft
(15m) apart.
Below is a guide on how to replace the
battery once it has reached end of life.
