• Never use the steam machine for cleaning of
the appliance. The jet of steam could penetrate
inside and come into contact with the components
causing a short circuit.
• The appliance is not intended to be used with
an external timer or a separate remote control
system.
• If an electric appliance, e.g. a blender, is being
used near the plate, make sure that its power cord
does not come into contact with the hot plate.
The cord insulation may be damaged. Danger of
electric shock.
• If the appliance is mounted behind a unit door,
only operate it with the door open. Only close the
door when the appliance and the heat indicator
lights are off.
• It is COMPULSORY to install a separator partition
between the bottom of the surface and any
drawer.
• If a drawer is located under the appliance, it is
advisable not to store flammable objects in it such
as spray cans. The drawer cutlery tray, if present,
must be made of heat-resistant material.
• Installation, maintenance and repair work must be
carried out by authorised personnel.
