Problem
The evaporative
air cooler is not
functioning and does
not respond when
buttons are pressed.
No air flows from the
unit while the
machine is operating.
It is not cool
enough.
Water spitting from
the unit
Undesirable odor
White sediments
in the water tray
Possible cause
Blackout or faulty power
connection
Remote Control battery
have run out.
Remote Control or Control
Panel is damaged
Damaged motor
Incorrect motor connection
or loose motor connection
Thermal protection inside
the motor is working.
The cooling pad clogged.
The cooling pad are dry or
contain insufficient water while the
evaporative air cooler is working.
Cooling Pad stays out of the
position.
The unit is placed in an area
where undesirable odors
are present, or algae are
present in the water tank.
Water has a high content
of salt.
Corrective action
Measure the input
voltage and connect to a
designated power supply.
Change the battery.
Repair or replace the
control panel with another
of the same model
Repair or replace the motor
with another of the same
model.
Determine whether or not
the motor with connections
are in order.
Leave the unit off until the
fan motor is cool enough to
be used as usual
Clean or replace the cooling
pad.
Clean the water tray and
clean the top water tank.
Place the cooling pad in
the right position.
Clean the water tray and the
cooling pad.
Remarks
Recommended to
use Voltage meter
to get the right
voltage.
