OPERATION 

 

 

Un-spooling a bundle of cable: 

1.  Place the Home Fiber Cage on a flat level surface.  Anchor the frame if required or step on the frame base to hold 

securely in place when spooling.   

2.  Turn the adjustable L-arms in towards the center of the frame.  Place the bundle of fiber optic cable on the three 

arms.  Do not cut zip ties at this time. 

3.  Anchor the end of the fiber optic cable into one of the end hooks. 

 
 

 

 

4.  Adjsut the three arms outward along the spokes of the frame until they are FIRMLY pressed against the inner 

diameter of the fiber optic bundle.  Lock arms in place. 

5.  Rotate the L arms in place to secure the bundle on the frame. 

 
 
 

 

 
 

6.  Ensure the axle brake is locked.  Cut the zip ties and feed the other end of the cable through the cable guide.   
7.  Loosen the brake to the desired tension and proceed with pulling the cable off the frame.
