In-call menu
During a call, you can access the In-call menu by
pressing
. Some of the options listed in the
In-call menu may not be available at a given time
and vary depending on your network operator.
1.
Save Number:
access the “phonebook” menu.

Send Message:
access the “message” menu.
3.
Mute
: Mutes the mobile phone. When this option
is selected, if the phone is in Call waiting mode,
the party on the phone will not hear you and the
call will remain on hold.
Other operations
Adjusting the earpiece volume
You may adjust the earpiece volume during calls
with
(louder) and
(lower).
Keypad lock
This feature locks the keypad to prevent keys from
being accidentally pressed.
1.
To lock the keypad
: In idle mode, press and hold
to lock the keypad. After the keypad is locked,
the “Key Guard Mode” message will be shown at the
middle of the bottom part of the screen.

To unlock the locked keypad
: Press “3
*
” in
sequence quickly to unlock the keypad.

To answer an incoming call while the keypad is
locked
: To answer an incoming call, press
. To
ignore an incoming call, press
. During calls,
your mobile phone operates as if it were unlocked.
! Even if the keypad is locked, an emergency call
can still be made (such as: 112 or 000 other
national emergency numbers).
Key in an emergency call number, such as: 112,
and press
. The number will be displayed
after you have entered the first digit.
Input text
The 2901 model provides a number of input
methods for you to organize your phone book or
write messages.
By pressing
, users may switch between the
different input methods .
