instructions before use.

Special safety instructions
The chocolate fondue may be used by
children over 8 years old and people with
reduced sensitivity, or a physical or mental
disability, as long as they are supervised or
have been instructed in use of the appliance
in a safe manner and have thus understood
the associated risks. Children must not play
with the chocolate fondue. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by
children unless they are supervised.
When the chocolate fondue is in use, it
should be monitored continuously. When
the chocolate fondue is in use, any children
near it must not be left unattended. The
chocolate fondue is not a toy.
Place the chocolate fondue on a � at, stable
worktop. Do not allow the cord to hang
over the table edge, etc. and do not allow it
to come into contact with hot objects.
The cord, plug and chocolate fondue must
not be exposed to water, liquids or splashes,
as this may lead to a risk of electric shock.
The chocolate fondue may only be used
indoors in private households.
The chocolate fondue gets hot during use.
Make sure you do not burn yourself on the
appliance and the hot chocolate!
The chocolate fondue may only be used
for melting and heating chocolate. It must
not be used for melting or heating other
foodstuff s, such as butter, oil or water.
Observe good food hygiene when using
the chocolate fondue. Do not dip foodstuff s
into the chocolate if you have to eat or
touch them with your bare � ngers.
Wash the removable bowl and fondue forks
in hot water with a little washing-up liquid
before using them for the � rst time.
Do not plug the chocolate fondue into an
on/off timer or other equipment which can
automatically switch on the appliance.
