Plug the "blue" connector of the UDMA100 cable into the controller. UDMA100
cabel have coloured connectors, the "blue" connector must be plugged into the
controller to use UDMA100 mode. The "black" connector is plugged into the master
drive, the "gray" connector into the slave drive. The illustration shows the correct
cabling:
3. RAID Level
3.1 Striping (RAID 0)
Data blocks are written interleaved between 2-4 disk drives, the performance is
nearly doubled. Identical disk drives are recommended, but not necassary. The array
appears as one disk volume in the operating system.
