• When data exceeds the range of any function or statis-
tical data

• In Statistical calculation mode, if

• When finding x,

• When the number of calculation nesting levels exceeds
3 in statistical mode

• When more than 15 open parenthesis are used at one
time.

In these cases the calculator stops and displays E. Press
