3. Remove the adhesive strips protecting the mounting tabs on the back of the BC96XX base station (

), and slide
the base station on the metal plate. After aligning the tabs, push up to lock into place (

).
4. Fix the cradle to the VMK-P096 with two screws (
Figure 3
)

Mounting to Vehicle
Use the fixing U-bolts and the hexagon stop nuts (included in the kit) to mount the assembly on the vehicle as shown
below.

Mounting the Scanner Wall Bracket
To mount the wall bracket to the base station follow
the steps below and refer to the figures at right:
1. Remove the wall bracket label;
2. Fix the wall bracket onto the base station with 2
screws.
