Rhino II Configuration
The following features can be configured by the user. To modify the
default settings, create a file named UtilConfig.cfg with the new
settings and copy it in "/data/datalogic" folder using adb tool. Then
restart the device.
When the device is reset the default configuration is restored.

Startup/Shutdown Modes
The Rhino II has 3 modes of controlling Startup and Shutdown. Each
mode controls how the Ignition Sense power connector wire (IGN)
and the Rhino II’s front panel Power button (PWR) work together.
Mode 1 (default)
In the default mode (mode 1), IGN must be at a voltage greater than
10VDC and PWR must be pressed and held for a specified duration
to power up the VMC. To shut down the device, remove the positive
voltage from IGN or press and hold the PWR button for a specified
duration.
Mode 0
This mode allows IGN or PWR to control the Startup/Shutdown. To
power up the VMC, connect IGN to positive voltage or press the PWR
