SET RADIO ADDRESS
Follow the procedure below to set the STAR
Modem™ radio address and prepare it
to transmit data to the destination device of the system:

Modem™ address (from

).
This address must be unique.

xxxx = four digits for the address of the Stand Alone
Destination Device (from

1999
).
This address must be unique.

Set RF Baud Rate (not for USA model)

Exit and Save Configuration

No interface selection is required, since STAR
Modem™ can transmit data only if
connected to the Host via its RS232 serial interface.

Whenever necessary, send the following string to STAR
Modem™ via RS232 to
restore its default values:
