I/O reference 

 
The EXT TRIG input is used to connect the external trigger which tells the scanner to 
scan for a code. The active state of this input is selected in software. Refer to the 
WinHost Help On Line. 
 
The yellow LED (Figure A, 5) is on when EXT TRIG- is shorted to GND.  
 
This input is driven by an NPN type command. The connections are indicated in the 
following diagram:
