• 

Read all instructions.

• 

Remove all packaging and labels 

from appliance prior to use. 

• 

Make sure appliance is cleaned 

thoroughly before using.

• 

This appliance must only be used 

by or under the supervision of 

a responsible adult.

• 

Be sure to insert the battery with 

correct positive (+) and negative 

(—) polarity.

• 

Do not use appliance for other 

than its intended use.

• 

Do not use the appliance if it is 

damaged or has malfunctioned.

• 

DO NOT

 drop or hit the mill 

against a hard object. This can 

cause the mill to malfunction or 

stop working completely. 

• 

Do not immerse in any liquid; 

instead use a soft wet cloth 

to clean.

• 

Store appliance in a dry place 

away from direct sunlight.

• 

DO NOT

 mix old and new 

batteries. Replace all batteries 

at the same time. 

• 

DO NOT

 mix Alkaline, standard 

(carbon-zinc), or rechargeable 

(Ni-Cad, Ni-MH, etc.) batteries. 

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be 

followed including: 

• 

When the mill is not used for 

more than a month, remove 

the batteries from the mill to 

prevent it from leaking. If it leaks, 

carefully wipe away the liquid 

inside the battery compartment 

and replace the batteries with 

a new one.

• 

Do not heat or disassemble 

batteries and never dispose of 

old batteries by throwing them 

into a fire.

• 

Do not dispose batteries into 

standard garbage disposal 

sites. Dispose of at available 

Battery Recycle Sites after fully 

discharging battery. Not doing 

so may violate local disposal laws 

and regulations. Please refer 

to local regulations for proper 

battery disposal.

• 

Do not place appliance on 

or near a hot gas burner, hot 

electric burner, or in a heated 

oven.

•
