The WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive places an obligation on all EU based manufacturers
and importers of Electrical and Electronic Equipment to take back products at the end of their useful life. Sega

The following symbol will be on all products manufactured from 13th August 2005, which
indicates this product must NOT be disposed of with other normal waste. Instead, it is
the user’s responsibility to dispose of their waste equipment by arranging to return it to a
designated UK collection point for the correct recycling of waste electrical and electronic
equipment.

Battery Recycling Statement
The EC Directive on Batteries and Accumulators (2006/66/EC) aims to minimize the impact of batteries on the
environment and encourage the recovery of the materials they contain. To achieve increased collection and recycling of
waste batteries, the Directive places 'producer responsibility' obligations on manufacturers and importers of portable,
industrial and automotive batteries.
September 2008 and indicates they must NOT be disposed of with other normal waste.
