Girth:
The 1-part MECRON knee braces need to be ordered in
relation to upper and lower leg circumference. Measure
the circumference both 20 cm above and below the
middle of the patella.
The 3-part MECRON knee braces are individually
adjustable to the patient’s leg circumference (up to a
max. thigh circumference of 74 cm).
Length:
For maximum stability, the knee brace should be positioned one handwidth below the groin
and should end 1.5 handwidths above the ankle. This applies to 1-part and 3-part knee braces.
