Preventative maintenance, continued
Follow this procedure to inspect and clean the internal parts every two years:

Remove the upper part of the front cover .

Release the two screws at the upper left and
right corner (underneath the upper part of
the front cover) .

Remove the remaining part of the front
cover .

Pull out one of the fan boxes .

Carefully clean the fan’s blades with com-
pressed air or a brush through the opening
at the base of the fan box . All blades must be
clean in order to maintain the fan’s balance .
Be careful not to remove the small metal
balance pieces on the fan’s blades as this can
cause vibrations .

Turn the fan with the fingers and listen to
check for murmurs from the bearing . If this
is the case, the fan will probably need to be
replaced .

If the unit is equipped with a heating ele-
ment: clean as much as possible without
taking the fan box apart . Inspect the heating
elements for visible damage .

Pull out the filter and inspect the ducts visu-
ally for dirt . If this is the case, the ducts must
be cleaned .

Reinsert the fan box and repeat steps 1-6
with the second fan box .

Ensure that all gaskets are sealed completely
before replacing the panel .

Check that all connections are securely connected to the PCB .

Mount the front panel .
