400-Type Equipment Housing
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
T
he 41078 400-Type Equipment Shelf is a steel housing for
two 400-type Dantel modules (or those manufactured by
other suppliers).
The 41078 shelf can be installed in 19-inch or 23-inch equipment
racks.
The shelf has plastic card guides. Ground lugs are provided for
each module.
Two 60-pin wire-wrap terminal blocks on the front of the shelf
allow front access for wiring in confined spaces where it is
difficult to reach the rear of the shelf. The front panel also has a
fuse and a red LED to indicate a blown fuse.
The rear of the shelf has a 10-point barrier strip. Depending on
the application, it may also have a 25-pin female EIA connector
and/or an RJ-11 phone jack.
