Expansion module
The expansion module is mounted in the electric cabinet on the intended rail. If there is no room, the module can be instal-
led in an external, enclosed cabinet and connected with a longer modular cable.
• Set the switches on the front of the expansion module to the TWC position

• Connect a modular cable between HP CRM Exp.out and HPC EM Exp.in
Connections of expansion module for TWC operation:
Temperature input, T1: Sensor, water heater
Temperature input, T2: Transmitter, hot water return
Analogue output 0-10 V, AO1: -
Relay, DO1: Signal to electric cartridge, hot water (no-potential closure, maximum 6A)
Exp.in: Connection from HPC RM
Exp.out: Connection to possible additional module.
Electric cartridge

• Connect to DO1.1 to 24 VAC 2.1.
⚠
• Connect DO1.2 to the contactor coil (the relay coil) and further to 24 VAC 2.2.
Sensor, water heater
⚠
• Connect the sensor cable to T1 and GND.
Sensor, hot water return

• Connect the sensor cable to T2 and GND.
