Z5043 MAX Horizontal bracket

The Z5043 Horizontal bracket enables MAX cabinets to be fixed to

walls, ceilings or other suitable surfaces and set to a selected vertical

coverage angle.
The vertical coverage angle is set using one of six locating holes for

cabinet mounting at each end of the bracket. Once set to a position

the cabinet is firmly locked in place.
The bracket is normally directly fixed to walls, ceilings or other

suitable surfaces. For multiple cabinet use, a special adapter plate

allows MAX cabinets fitted with the brackets to be joined together in

clusters.

Assembly

Eight mounting holes are provided on the back of the bracket for

fixing it to a wall, ceiling or other suitable surface. Each bracket end

is attached to the M10 threaded inserts [2] top and bottom of the

MAX cabinet using the supplied M10 x 30 hex head bolts, plain and

shakeproof washers. Fixing bolts longer than those supplied must not

be used.
One of the fixing bolts fits through a slot in the bracket end and the

other through one of six locating holes. The table below lists for each

of the six locating holes the resulting angle of the loudspeaker axis

relative to the plane of the mounting surface.

Load safety information

The MAX Horizontal bracket will, when securely mounted, support

the weight of a single MAX loudspeaker cabinet. Secondary safeties

should always be provided and used when flying or fixing

loudspeaker loads overhead.
