The DeviceNet Port
The DeviceNet port is on the front of the module near the center as shown in
. The pinout for the DeviceNet port is shown below:
In your network layout, follow DeviceNet specifications. Only use DeviceNet compliant
cable, such as Belden 3084A thin wire and Belden 3082A thick wire.

The Configuration (RS232) Port
There is an RS232 port on the lower front of the module as shown in
. This is used to connect to a PC in order to download a file representing
your DeviceNet network.
