CHECKS:
FIRST START-UP CHECKS
Before starting the machine, check the following:
•
Check that all oil plugs are correctly positioned, see section "Configurations p. 8".
•
Check that all oil levels are correct.
•
Check that all the grease guns are full of grease.
•
When controlled rotation devices are used, check that the direction of free rotation is correct.
•
When “auxiliary commands” are present, check that:
When the main motor is running, a “free rotation” device releases the auxiliary motor.
When the auxiliary motor is running, the main drive shaft of the gear unit is slowly driven by this motor.
•
Check all bolts with ISO metric threading are tightened to the correct torque (see "Values Table Torque Setting Bolts p. 32").
VALUES TABLE TORQUE SETTING BOLTS
gear units are not filled with oil when supplied therefore customers should see to this (see section "LUBRICATION: p. 27").
