Cleaning the portafilter
Carry out the operations described.
1)
Wait for the portafilter to cool down to prevent burns or
scalds.
2)
Remove the portafilter from the grouphead.
3)
Remove the puck from the last coffee extracted.
4)
Gently remove the filter.
5)
Prepare a container with a suitable amount of drinking
water.
NOTICE
Do not immerse the handle in the cleaning solution to
prevent damage to it.
6)
Immerse the portafilter and filter in the container.
7)
Put one of the detergent tablets supplied or an equiva-
lent in the water.
8)
Thoroughly rinse the filter and portafilter to remove any
detergent residue.
9)
Use the lever to quickly clean the hot water sprinkler.
