• Venus - Hosted: This option is the Daktronics-hosted (remote, cloud-based) Venus
®
Control Suite software program. When this is chosen, the Host field is set as venus.
daktronics.com and the Port field is set as 443 by default. Refer to Figure 59 .

• Venus - Local: This option is the Venus
®
Control Suite software program that is hosted
from a local computer server. When this is chosen, the Host field is blank and the Port
field is set as 8811 by default. Fill in the correct Host information before saving. Refer
to Figure 60 .
• IDM: This option is the Daktronics Intelligent Device Management (IDM) system, an
internet-based monitoring and diagnostic system. When this is chosen, the Host field is
set as fusion.daktronics.com and the Port field is set as 443 by default. Refer to
Figure 61 .

• Custom: This option allows the operator to configure the processor to communicate
with any other software program not on the drop-down menu. When this is chosen,
the Host field is blank and the Port field is set as 80 by default. Refer to Figure 62 .
Peripherals
Peripherals contains display sensor information. Peripheral sensors can be added from
the Add Peripheral drop-down menu. Refer to Figure 63 .
