6.4 Instructions on how to make a backup
script file
Follow the instructions below to create a backup script for the
VIP 4500. For additional information, refer to the DMP-7000
Installation and Setup Manual ( DD1834905 ).
1. Follow the instructions in Section 6.3 to create your .VLC
files before proceeding.
2.
On the V7Dsply scripting page, right click on an unused
cell and select Edit Cell . Refer to Figure 29 .
3. A pop-up window will appear where you will either
enter in the name of the script file you are looking for, or
name a new one. This example uses the name backup.

Right click on cell described in
Step 2
and select
Edit
Script File . Refer to Figure 31 .
5. The Edit Script pop-up window will appear. Click the Add
Line button to create a scripting line. Refer to Figure 32 .

Select the scripting command
VLSendConfig File
then click
the Next button. Refer to Figure 33 .
7. Click Select Sign to select the sign connected to your VIP.
When complete, click the Next button. Refer to Figure 34 .
