6 System Logic Flow and Input Options
Up to four SD-SDI or HD-SDI sources can be displayed at one time. These sources may come
from a variety of digital output devices, including cameras, decks, switchers, and DDRs. A
BNC connection located on the rear of the VIP accepts the feeds. Refer to
Figure 3
. The loop
out connectors, located to the right of the HD-SDI/SDI inputs, can send the same source to a
backup VIP 4500 video processor.
A maximum of four analog video sources can be connected at one time. The VIP 4500
processor accepts component, S-Video, and/or composite sources. Refer to Figure 2 and the
following table for more information.
