Note the location and orientation of the plugs going into the LVDB on the failed
power supply. Disconnect the plugs going into the LVDB.

Loosen the screws securing the power supply mounting plate to the metal truss and
gently lift the power supply and mounting plate off the truss.
5.
Loosen the screws securing the power supply to the plate, and gently lift the faulty
power supply off the plate.
6.
Remove the screws connecting the LVDB to the power supply.
To replace the new power supply, repeat the above steps in reverse order.
5.9 LVDB Replacement
1.
Turn off power to the power supply containing the failed LVDB by turning off the
appropriate breaker in the distribution panel.
2.
Note the location and orientation of the plugs connected to the failed LVDB on the power
supply. Remove the screws connecting the LVDB to the power supply.
3.
Gently lift the LVDB off the power supply.
To replace the LVDB, follow the previous steps in reverse order.
5.10 LVDB Fuse Replacement
Note:
Only replace fuses with fuses of the same type and rating.
1.
Disable the circuit breakers that power the power supplies.
2.
Locate the failed fuse by using a multimeter set to ohms to determine “OPEN” across
the fuse. Using a small pliers or needle nose pliers, gently pull the failed fuse out of
the LVDB.
3.
Gently push the new fuse into the LVDB.
5.11 Control Panel Maintenance
When removing a component within the control panel, note the DIP switch and DIP jumper
settings. After replacing a component, set the DIP switches and DIP jumpers on the
replacement board to the previous setting.
