Throughout this manual, the names or letters of keys on the keypad are enclosed in
brackets (such as
[ENTER]
).
Keypad
To the right of the sport-specific insert is a keypad with a section of permanent keys.
These keys include the numbers
0-9
,
CLEAR/NO
,
ENTER/YES
, and arrows. Notice the up
and down arrow keys are also labeled
NEXT
and
LAST
. The function of these keys will
depend on what the LCD is prompting the operator to do.
Built-in Printer
The OmniSport 2000 console features a convenient built-in thermal printer which prints
out event results and console settings in under 10 seconds.
Paper Installation
1�
Open the printer cover by turning the knob with the
arrow to the left 1/4 turn, or until the arrow points
left. Lift the cover up and forward to remove it from
the console (

Remove the old roll of paper.
3�
Using a pair of scissors, cut the new roll of paper off
to make the end of the paper square.
4�
Place the roll of paper into the printer compartment
so that the paper feeds up from underneath the
roll. If the paper is placed incorrectly, the printer will
act like it is printing, but no text will appear on the
.

Place the newly cut squared edge of the paper into the back side of the black
rubber roller on the printer. With the console powered on, the printer should
automatically advance, pulling the paper through the printer.

Replace the cover and turn the latch back to the right until the arrow is pointing
upward to secure.
Thermal printer paper can be ordered from Daktronics (part # SF-1034). It is also readily
available at office supply stores. Max dimensions: 2.28” (58mm) wide, 165’ (50.3 m) long
