SHOT CLOCK OPERATION DURING THE GAME
At The Opening Tip:
Make sure that the rocker switch on the shot clock controller is on
STOP
at the opening tip. Press the switch to
CLOCK START
once possession is gained
after the jump. NOTE: The shot clock DOES NOT START WHEN THE BALL IS TIPPED. The
shot clock starts when a team clearly gains possession of the ball.
Pro Tip:
Consider labeling the buttons on the controller for the appropriate reset times.
The Reset 1 button should reset to 35 seconds. The Reset 2 button should reset to 20
seconds.
In The Event Of A Shot Clock Error:
There are two ways to reset
the shot clock in the event of a timing error. Both buttons to reset are
located in the black section of the scoreboard insert between the home
and visiting team controls (highlighted in yellow in the picture).
Manually Setting The Shot Clock:
Press
SET SHOT TIME
, key in
the time and press
YES/ENTER.
Recall Shot Time:
To recall the last time shown on the clock after a
reset, press
RECALL SHOT TIME
and then press
YES/ENTER
